Designed and managed online and in-person education and capacity-building programs to train seasoned and emerging practitioners in carbon removal, biochar production, and end-uses of biochar focused on agriculture, soil and water remediation, as well as industrial applications for decarbonization such as asphalt, the built environment, and cement.
Key Highlights
Education & Engagement Strategy: Authored IBI’s Education & Education Strategy by engaging 30+ cross-sector SMEs; aligned with organizational 2025-2030 strategic goals; includes quantitative and qualitative data collection and assessment methodologies to measure impact and increase producer engagement.
Learning Framework Design: Designed and operationalized an iterative training design framework to adapt programs for diverse geographic regions and cross-sectoral audiences. The Biochar Academy has so far reached audiences in 20+ countries.
Global Capacity-building Events: Launched international training events in Thailand, Italy, Germany; developed additional events in Kenya, Colombia, and Florida.
Learning Management System: Built and administered IBI’s self-service learning platform and LMS serving 3000+ global learners; integrated CRM data tracking to monitor module completion and performance metrics; used analytics to improve learner engagement by 20%, streamline certification processes, and direct user journey.
